Videography · San Diego

You don’t have to be good on camera. You just have to be you.

I’m Eddie Flores, a San Diego videographer who films business owners, and most of them walked in sure they’d be terrible at this. We talk first, the camera comes second, and the film that comes out sounds like you on a good day. Press play. Turn the sound on. That’s the work.

Opening frame of the Mr Eddie Flores sizzle reel

As of October 2026. Counted from my own archive and rounded down.

What this is

Story-first video production for people who hate watching themselves.

Most video shoots start with a camera. Mine start with a conversation. Before we film anything, we sit down and figure out who you are, who you’re talking to, and what your customers say about you when you’re not in the room. By the end you’ll hear yourself describe your business in words you’ve never used before. Those words become the film.

Then I show up with the cameras, the lights and the audio, and we move fast without rushing you. You walk away with videos that do the explaining for you, so the right customer already trusts you before they ever call. That’s the whole point. Not views. Not a viral moment. The people who need you, finding you, while you’re home for dinner.

Pick your lane

Five ways in. Same conversation first.

“I want to show up every month without running a content team.”

Monthly Content Package

One shoot a month, cut into 6 to 12 vertical videos with captions in your voice, plus a horizontal master. You stay consistent, and it never lands on your to-do list.

“My customers say great things about me. Nobody else ever hears them.”

Testimonial Video

Your real customer on camera, comfortable, telling the story of what changed after they hired you. A stranger believes someone like them way faster than they believe you.

“I’ve never put my own story into one video.”

Brand-Message Interview

A 90-minute working session with no camera, then one foundation film plus short cuts for social. You stop reinventing your message every time you hit record.

“I have one project, and I want to try the process first.”

Half-Day Shoot

Four to five hours on location for one clear deliverable, with the conversation done the week before. Find out how this feels before you commit to anything bigger.

“I have a stack of things to film and one day to do it.”

Full-Day Shoot

Eight to nine hours on location, several deliverables, one setup. One day of your time turns into a quarter’s worth of finished pieces.

Every project and every budget is different, so there’s no price list here. Text or call first. Tell me what you’re trying to do, and I’ll tell you which lane fits, even if the honest answer is “you don’t need this yet.”

Roll the tape

Real owners. Real films.

Tap a film and watch it with sound. Then pick the one that looks most like your business.

Tech and AI · Short-form batch

One shoot, a batch of short films that make AI feel simple for people who don’t live in tech.

How it works

Four steps from hello to finished film.

The conversation

Before any camera comes out, we figure out who you actually are and who you’re talking to.

Comfort coaching

You walk in already knowing your answers, so the camera has nothing to catch you on.

The shoot

On location, full audio and light. We move fast. We don’t rush you.

The delivery

A horizontal master plus vertical cuts, about a week after a half day and about two weeks after a full one. You, on a good day. The kind of film where you finally think, dang, that’s me.

Camera shy?

Good. Most of my clients are.

Let me guess. You’ve watched yourself on video once, cringed, and decided you’re “just not a camera person.” Or you hired someone before, stood in front of a lens while they told you to “be natural,” and never used a second of that footage.

That shoot didn’t fail because of you. It failed because nobody did the conversation first. Freezing almost always comes from not knowing what to say. By the time my camera comes out, you’ve already said your answers out loud once, to a guy who actually cares about them. That’s why people walk in saying “I’m bad at this” and walk out surprised.

What they say after.

“Eddie and the team he provides is no less than amazing. The quality of communication prior to production is great… Lastly, the quality of the videos and photos that they produce is absolutely top-notch.”

Where I film

Based in San Diego. I drive to Orange County and Los Angeles.

Most of my shoots happen right here in San Diego County, at your shop, your office, your job site or wherever you feel most like yourself. I travel to Orange County and Los Angeles for brand shoots too, and I bring the full kit with me. Recent films took me from the J Street Marina in Chula Vista to a stage at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. If you’re farther out, text me. I’ll tell you straight if the drive makes sense.

No risk in a conversation

If you don’t feel ready, we don’t shoot.

The first thirty minutes with me are just a conversation. No camera. If after that you don’t feel ready, we don’t roll. That’s the deal. And when we do shoot, every edited video comes with a round of revisions, so you never end up with a film you don’t want to share.

Questions people ask before they text me.

How much does a videographer cost in San Diego?

It depends on the job, so there’s no price list on this site. One testimonial and a full day with three speakers are different projects. Text or call me first, tell me what you’re trying to do, and I’ll give you a straight answer on the call, with no surprise add-ons later.

Which service should I start with?

Most people start with one shoot, usually a half day. You see how the process feels, you watch the playback, and then you decide what’s next. If you already know you want to show up every month, start with the monthly package.

Do you travel to Orange County and Los Angeles?

Yes. I’m based in San Diego and I travel to Orange County and Los Angeles for shoots. Most shoots happen at your own place of business.

How fast do I get my videos?

About a week after a half-day shoot when editing is included, and about two weeks after a full day because there’s more footage. Monthly clients get each month’s videos about a week after the shoot.

What if I freeze on camera?

That’s the most common worry I hear, and it’s what the conversation before the shoot is for. No script, no teleprompter, nothing to memorize. You answer questions you’ve already thought through, in your own words.

Do I get the raw footage?

Yes. On every shoot day, the raw footage is yours for your archive. Editing is optional on the half-day and full-day shoots. If you already have an editor, raw works fine.

Do you use AI?

Yes. I’m not a tech guy. I’m a guy with a camera, and AI runs the business side so I can spend my time on you and still be home for dinner with my family. Your film is your real footage, your real people and your real words. Always.

Do you do photography too?

I do. My photography lives at my studio, Love Life Photography.

Who is this not for?

If you want the cheapest, the fastest, or a trick that makes you look bigger than you are, I’m not your guy. If you care about your customers and you’re willing to have one real conversation before we pick up gear, we’re going to get along.

Ready when you are

How long have you been putting this off?

Be honest. I’ll wait. Then text me what you’re trying to do. One line is enough. I’ll write back with two questions, and we’ll both know fast if this is a fit. Rather type it out? Use the form and it comes straight to me.

I read every message myself and reply within one business day.
