Let's talk

Videography · Events · San Diego

The night ends. The film keeps working.

I’m Eddie Flores, and I do event videography in San Diego for galas, grand openings, company parties and community events. I film the speeches, the room and the moments nobody planned, then cut a recap film and quick reels you can post while people are still talking about it.

Social recap reels

Vertical reels, cut for the feed.

The long film is for your website and your sponsors. The reel is for this week. From the same shoot I cut short vertical clips sized for Instagram, TikTok and Shorts, so the event keeps getting seen.

This one is from 4th Sunday at the Gaylord Pacific: the lawn, the music, the food and the people, in under a minute.

Why it pays off

One night. Content that keeps working.

The chairs get stacked and the room empties out. The film is what’s left, and it keeps selling the next event.

Next year sells itself

A recap film is the best invite you’ll ever send. Sponsors, donors and guests see what they missed, and they don’t want to miss it again.

Photo and video, one person

I’m a photographer too, so one booking covers the recap film, the reels and the photos. One plan, one contact, everything matching.

Fast, so it’s still fresh

I run my business on systems that keep me fast and organized, so the reels come out while the event is still the talk of the week.

  • By far the best experience ! Eddie brightens up the room with his presence, he was very kind and took the time to get to know me and brought my vision to life. Not only did he guide me throughout this whole film but gave me great points and knowledge that made me feel very comfortable behind camera. He went above and beyond to meet my expectations and still over delivered ! Thank you Eddie for such an amazing experience & Film

  • WOW!!!! It's the best way to sum up what Eddie and his Team did at our event.
If Video and Photography is your need…you have to get in touch with him ASAP!
    Thanks again Eddie!
We will definitely use your incredible services in the future.
    Impressive!!!

  • Filming this Video was an awesome experience. Eddie has an energy level that is second to none, he’s professional and fun all at the same time. I liked that he took some of my ideas within the entire vision of what we were trying to accomplish here at Hannegan’s House Beer Co & Creamery. Overall Eddie is a class act, fun and most of all a hard worker with quality to go along with it all!!!!! I would recommend him to anyone looking to do a video project for their business or even personal! Thanks Eddie you’re the best!!!

Got an event on the calendar? Let’s make sure it’s on film.

Who hires an event videographer.

Nonprofits running a gala, hotels and venues, companies hosting a party or a grand opening, and schools and community groups with a big day to remember. Corazón de Vida has had me film its Noche de Gala more than once. The Gaylord Pacific Resort in Chula Vista keeps me busy with its events. West Coast Martial Arts has me back for tournaments and holiday days.

If you’re hosting, you can’t also be watching to see if somebody got the shot. That’s my job. 15+ years and 1,400+ client shoots taught me where to stand before the moment happens.

What you get with event videography.

  • A planning call before the event: the run of show, the speakers and the must-have moments
  • Speeches, toasts, awards and the stage, with clean audio
  • The room, the guests and the moments in between
  • A recap film for your website, your sponsors and next year’s invite
  • Vertical reels for Instagram, TikTok and Shorts
  • Event photos from the same booking when you want them
  • Drone shots of the venue when the venue allows it and it’s safe to fly

How an event shoot goes.

Before

The plan

We walk through the run of show together: who speaks, which sponsors need to be seen, and what you’ll use the film for.

Event day

Quiet and everywhere

I show up early, learn the room and stay out of the way. Your guests barely notice me, which is why the moments look real.

Delivery

Reels first, film next

Short reels come first so you can post while it’s fresh. The recap film follows, ready for your site and your thank-you emails.

Common questions about event videography.

How much does event videography cost in San Diego?

It depends on how long the event runs, how many cameras it needs and what you want delivered, so there’s no price list on this site. Text me the date, the venue and what you need, and I’ll give you a straight number with no surprise add-ons.

What’s the difference between a recap film and a full event video?

A recap film is a short, edited story of the night set to music, usually one to three minutes. A full event video is the long record of the speeches or program. Most clients want the recap, and some want both. We’ll decide on the planning call.

Can you do photo and video at the same event?

Yes. I’m a photographer as well, so one booking can cover the recap film, the reels and the photos. For bigger events I bring a second shooter so nothing gets missed.

Do you film corporate events and company parties?

Yes. Grand openings, holiday parties, team celebrations, launches and conferences. You get a film your team can use for recruiting, marketing and next year’s invite.

Do you make vertical videos for social media?

Yes. Every event can include short vertical reels cut for Instagram, TikTok and Shorts, made from the same footage as the recap film.

How fast do we get the video?

Reels come first, while the event is still fresh. The recap film follows. If you need something the same week for a press release or a thank-you post, tell me before the event and we’ll plan for it.

My promise

The Must-Have Promise.

Your must-have moments go on a list before the night. Reels in your hands within 7 days, or the reels are on me.

How it works

  • We agree the must-have list together on the planning call. If something on it is a long shot, I’ll tell you then.
  • I cover the list as long as each moment happens where and when we planned it. Timeline changes on the night are the exception.
  • The 7 days start the morning after the event.
  • If the reels are late, you don’t pay for the reels.

Got an event coming up?

Text me the date, the venue and roughly how many people. One line is enough. I’ll write back with a couple of questions and we’ll know fast if it’s a fit.

I reply within one business day.
